James Duberman is the Founder, President and CEO of Gateway Title Agency. As a recognized leader in the real estate and insurance industries, James has developed many relationships over the past 20 years with leading financial institutions, countless mortgage agencies, national real estate companies, attorneys and individual home buyers.
Mr. Duberman received his juris doctorate from Brooklyn Law School and his Bachelor of Arts in Finance, Business and Investments from Hofstra University.
Linda Howe has been a certified paralegal for more than 25 years. She brings this experience to Gateway Title Agency in her role at Chief Operating Officer. With the company since its inception, her main focus is always customer service.
Linda is recognized as the “go to” person among law firms, real estate companies, mortgage companies and private clients, as well. Her previous work experience includes Office Manager for Baron Associates and Legal Manager for Duberman Associates.
Stephanie Faillace has been a real estate paralegal
for more than 20 years and has worked for Gateway Title Agency since its inception. An expert in research, Stephanie uses her skills to make ensure that every title search is precise and complete.
Stephanie has experience both from the lender side as well as title company, so she is able to anticipate and conquer any obstacle that may arise during a search. Her previous work experience includes paralegal services for Victor Gartenstein, Baron Associates and Duberman Associates.
Kim Umbro the newest member of our team, has quickly risen through the ranks to become our Manager of Title Clearance. A seasoned administrative assistance, Kim brings over 10 years experience in the investment banking industry, including Solomon Smith Barney, to Gateway Title Agency. With a keen eye for details, she is able to quickly determine exactly what needs to be done clear a file for closing.
